Pilates Mat, Reformer & Barre

Mat, Reformer, Tower and barre work that builds deep core strength, posture and control. Start with Reformer Fundamentals and move up at your own pace.

  • Pilates Reformer Fundamentals Start hereOn the schedule nowIn studio + live online

This class is a prerequisite for participation in ALL OTHER Reformer classes. For those with experience, this will be an opportunity to learn our procedure for equipment set-up and tear-down so that we can maximize time in your future classes with a great workout rather than spending valuable fitness time on machine mechanics and procedures.

For folks new to Reformer work, this is your opportunity to learn machine set-up and basic exercise transitions to ensure your success in class. This class is your jumpstart to understanding the meaning of our cues and reasoning behind spring choices, so you can modify appropriately and thus maximize your time in class (oftentimes, less spring tension doesn't equal less work). The better your understanding of the machine and the more precise your form is, the more challenging the easiest exercises will become.

  • Embodied Interval Training On the schedule nowIn studio

A full-body workout that aims to improve cardiovascular health, muscular strength, and endurance. This heart-pumping class will combine muscle conditioning with bursts of cardio using mostly bodyweight and light weights with additions of other equipment as inspired.

There is a growing body of research proving interval training can provide similar or greater benefits in less time than traditional longer, moderate-intensity workouts.

This High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout involves short bursts of vigorous exercise followed by short, active recovery periods, which leads to a prolonged afterburn, or EPOC (excess post oxygen consumption). This causes the body to take longer to return to its state of rest, so it continues to burn calories (5x more) at a higher rate long after the workout session has completed. |

  • Rebounding On the schedule nowIn studio

Not only is rebounding fun, N.A.S.A. says it's the best exercise devised by man. N.A.S.A. has been using rebounding to train their astronauts for years. A N.A.S.A. study found that rebounding is 68% more efficient than treadmills or other forms of exercise. N.A.S.A. also found rebounding to be helpful in rebuilding the bone mass and muscle mass that astronauts lose in the weightlessness of space. These results are implications that rebounding is beneficial for those with osteoporosis. Urban Rebounding is a low impact fat burning exercise done on a mini trampoline. Improve balance, coordination, proprioception, muscle strength and have FUN! Time flies when you are on a trampoline.

  • Qigong / Human Energy Development On the schedule nowIn studio + live online

The HED (Human Energy Development) combines Taoist physical exercise with meditative practices.  From this perspective, relaxed, soft, and gentle movements are more conducive to energy enhancement and meditation than strenuous exercise.  It is common for people to make attempts at meditation but give up because of the volume of thoughts we tend to have, living in this fast-paced world of ours.  Taoist meditators of old concluded that the typical mind is like a "restless monkey."  Through HED, subtle movements paired with specialized mental focus prepare the mind and body for heightened peaceful energy, and this state of mind-body leads to a natural calming of the mind.  As the mind becomes calmer, energy levels tend to increase.   The HED program will assist practitioners in cultivating the capacity to enter deep states of relaxation.  In such states, etheric energies are harvested, conserved, stored, and circulated in the body...

  • Infinity Fitness On the schedule nowIn studio

Infinity Fitness, part of Human Energy Development (HED), is a mindful movement practice centered on walking. While walking is natural, its complexity often goes unnoticed. This class brings awareness to three key elements: contralateral coordination (opposite arm and leg movement), core engagement, and the subtle responses within bones, tendons, and fascia that support efficient, fluid motion. Rather than isolating muscles, Infinity Fitness emphasizes the body as an integrated system. Movement flows from the ground through the legs, into the core, and out through the shoulders, arms, and head, creating a coordinated, whole-body experience. Participants explore and refine natural arm and leg swinging patterns with intention and control. A defining feature is the “infinity” or figure-eight pattern, especially through the hips and arms, encouraging fluidity, adaptability, and ease. Elements of meditation and presence are woven throughout...
